SPECIAL PROGRAM | As part of the museum weekend, the exhibition is expanded through interactive elements. Visitors have the opportunity to actively engage, leave their own traces, and not only observe art but become part of it themselves.

UTOPIA is an initiative that offers very young artists a platform to make their work visible and to gain their first exhibition experience. UTOPIA was initiated in 2025 in the context of a diploma project and was established as an association in 2026. Its aim is to provide artists aged 13 to 21 with a concrete platform for presentation, networking, and artistic development. The name refers to the idea of a possible place—while also describing the attempt to create such a space in reality.

In 2026, UTOPIA presents its second annual exhibition. The project has been further developed to allow for greater openness and broader participation. A key focus lies on the diversity of artistic expression: different media and approaches are presented on equal footing, without restrictions regarding technique or format.

The exhibition brings together works that emerge from individual perspectives while also engaging with societal themes. The presentation creates a framework that encourages exchange and invites visitors to engage with different lived realities. In addition, a program will be offered as part of the museum weekend, integrating interactive elements and fostering active audience participation.
