Introduction by Mirela Baciak, Salzburger Kunstverein. Followed by a Q&A with Pablo Martínez-Zárate and Mirela Baciak.
A poetic excavation of power, memory, and resistance, Impressions on Colonialism weaves personal experience with historical and geopolitical fragments to explore the lingering force of colonial structures in the present. Performed live through image, sound, and voice, the piece unfolds as a cinematic essay that resists linearity—inviting the audience into a landscape of haunted histories, fragile intimacies, and unresolved futures.
