Studios

Artists at Salzburger Kunstverein

The Künstlerhaus provides 22 studios exclusively for members of the Salzburger Kunstverein. The contract lasts usually for three years with the possibility to extend for one period. If a studio is available the call will be announced to all members. A jury consisting of representatives of the board decides on the allocation.

In the Künstlerhaus there are working studios (sink/ size from 30 to 90 qm) and living studios (shower & WC / size from 40 to 60 qm) available. Prices on request.

The Salzburger Kunstverein also provides a studio for young artists for a term of two years with special conditions. For the studio with a size of 30 m2 only operating costs must be paid, no rent. A membership is required.

Grafische Werkstatt „Sauberes Sacherl“
The Grafische Werkstatt (Graphic Workshop) runs a production site for artistic manual graphic reproduction at the Rudolfskai location. As a non-profit, charitable association, the Workshop offers its resources and workforce to visual artists, giving them an opportunity to use traditional techniques at low cost. The Workshop functions as a representative and offers support for the artists. It enables, hosts, helps, advises, edits and makes contacts.

Seminars, presentations and education activities take place. gruppe19
gruppe19 is a fluid collective of female artists that seeks to combine artistic and social practices and explore their intersections. gruppe19 has no fixed membership and therefore sees itself not only as a “community” but also as a temporary moment of possibilities. gruppe19 stems primarily from an art education and art mediation background, which is why sharing, collecting, and passing on knowledge of all kinds is of great importance to the collective. The group's focus is primarily on (local) collaborations that extend beyond the conventional “art bubble.”
